  • Financial Options

    Unlike human hospitals, our facilities, supplies and equipment purchased and maintained are from the revenue of this practice. It is our desire to provide you with quality veterinary care at a reasonable fee. In order to provide this quality of care, full payment is expected at the time that the services are rendered. Medications, food and other products are to be paid in full at the time of purchase.

    We gladly accept the following methods of payment:
    • Cash
    • Check
    • Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express
    If you are unable to pay the balance in full by these methods, we offer the options below:

    Care Credit is a No or Low Interest Payment Plan you can apply for here in the office, online, or by phone.  If your expected balance is over $200 you may qualify for the “No interest if paid in full within 6 months” promotional financing option. If your need is over $1000 you can receive either 6 months interest free or 24 months at 14.90% interest.  Brochures are available for more information.



    Hold-Check Option:
    If an estimate is greater than $200, fifty percent of the estimate is to be paid on the date of service. We can then hold up to two checks for the remainder of the balance - with the first check to be held for up to 30 days and the second to be held for up to 60 days. There will be a charge of $7.50 per held check. The checks are to be dated for the date of service and a slip has to be filled out and stapled to each check. This slip has the date that the check will be deposited along with the client's signature. The client may pick up the check prior to the deposit date and pay cash if preferred.

    *To hold a check is not an option for clients with an existing balance.
    **There is a $30.00 return check fee for all returned checks.

  • No Show Policy

    POLICY ON CANCELLATIONS OF APPOINTMENTS/NO-SHOW

     

    Alamance Veterinary Hospital is committed to provide all of our patients with exceptional care. Due to high demand for appointments, when a client cancels without giving advance notice, or doesn’t show for an appointment, it prevents other patients from being seen. A No-Show policy has been established in order to provide the highest level of veterinary care to all of our patients. By providing us notice of a cancellation, we may be able to accommodate other patients with your appointment slot.  We request all regular appointments be canceled at least 24 hours in advance and surgery appointments 48 hours in advance. After 2 No-Shows a non-refundable exam fee will need to be paid in advance to reserve future appointments on our schedule.

    We understand there may be times when an unforeseen emergency occurs and you may not be able to keep your scheduled appointment. You may contact us at the number listed below. Should it be after regular business hours or on weekends, please send us an email.
